Prof. David Crystal and Dr Laura Incalcaterra McLoughlin at the European Language Label ceremony, Marino Institute of Education, Dublin, 4.10.2013.

I am delighted to announce that the Diploma in italian Online received the European Language Label 2013. The ELL is awarded to innovative projects in the field of language teaching and learning. It rewards creative ways to improve the quality of language teaching, motivate learners and make the best of available resources.

I share the award with Dott.ssa Carmela Dell’Aria (Università degli Studi di Palermo) and Dr Emanuela Cotroneo (Università degli Studi di Genova) whose invaluable contribution made it possible to realize this project.

A big thank you also goes to Dott.ssa Valentina Rizzo, Dr Jennifer Lertola and Dr Francesca Magnoni for their  contribution to the running of the Diploma Online since September 2013.
